Q: I have very sensitive skin, is the Prickly Pear Facial Scrub safe to use?
A: All the ingredients used in our scrub are natural and we do not use any harmful additives which makes it suitable for sensitive skin. However, every skin is different and it is always possible that you may have an adverse reaction to one of the ingredients.
We recommend you do a patch test
on an area of your skin before applying it.
Q: Can I use the Prickly Pear Scrub everywhere on my body?
A: Yes, you can use the scrub topically anywhere. When using on the face, make sure not to apply too much pressure and avoid the eye contour area.
Q: How often should I use the facial scrub?
A: We recommend that you exfoliate two to three times a week for normal or combination skin. If your skin is more sensitive we recommend you only exfoliate your skin once a week.
Q: Is it bad to exfoliate every day?
A: when you exfoliate too much you might end up stripping the skin of beneficial oils which would lead to breakouts. You need to give your skin enough time to heal.
Q: How long should it take to see results after exfoliation?
A: Right after you finish exfoliating you should see an improvement in your complexion. However, for real long term and noticeable results, it can take 6 to 8 weeks.
Q: Should exfoliate before or after cleansing?
A: We recommend you cleanse your skin first to remove dirt, sweat and make up from the skin's surfac. This creates a clean base to then exfoliate the dead skin cells that accumulate on your skin.
