7 Ways to get your body back after pregnancy



When you are pregnant and every one comments on how cute your baby bump looks, there comes a time when you start getting used to it and even loving it. Unfortunately the baby fat is not so attractive anymore once you give birth. It might be faster for some to get rid of it but for some women it might just be a little bit too complicated. You should aim to return to your pre pregnancy weight within 6 to 12 months otherwise it would be very difficult to lose weight. Here are 5 ways you could bounce back to your body in not time.

1. Breastfeeding

Yes believe it or not but breastfeeding is not only good for your newborn, but it can also help you loose some extra weight. You can burn up to 600 calories a day.

2. Post Pregnancy Workout

Workout is always good for getting rid of the extra fat. Your workout should mainly focus on building up the muscles of your torso. Your torso muscles are stretched during pregnancy that it makes it impossible to exercise them during that time. Crunches and abs exercises are highly recommended. Wait a few weeks before you start increasing the level of intensity of your exercise as your stomach and pelvic needs time to heal after the pregnancy. Walking is also one of the best exercise you could be doing. In fact one of the most popular exercise for new moms is walking the stroller. It is not recommended to do strenuous exercise for at least 6 to 8 weeks such as jumping, jogging or running. The reason being is when you are pregnant you produce a hormone called relaxin, and that hormone makes your joint loose and make you more likely to

get an injury and that hormone stays at a few 6 weeks in your blood after the delivery.

3. Vitamin E to minimize stretch marks

Its very normal to get stretch marks right after pregnancy and vitamin E will be your best ally. Even though stretch marks will not completely disappear but they can at least fade over time. Vitamin E improves the skin’s strength, condition and elasticity which would decrease the appearance of stretch marks. 6. Eat Healthy

Of course eating your veggies and fruits are essential. 5 fruits and vegetable a day keeps the fat away. Make sure you opt for a diet rich in fiber and protein . Avoid sugary food and junk food. You have to be eating nutritious food to recover from your delivery. It is not recommended to do a strict low calorie diet as you need to be eating enough calories and giving your body enough nutrition especially if you are breast feeding.

7. Set realistic goals

Give yourself some time, do not overseers yourself. You will have some extra fat and you will have some stretch marks and you will have a different body than you used to but you can get it back but you should realist goals. Give yourself at least 6 to 12 months to loose your extra fat rather than trying to lose it all in few weeks.
