Dreaming of staying young forever? Well technically we can’t help you stop the clock but we can give you some tips to look young forever. Follow these 6 anti ageing tips to get rid of all signs of ageing.


 1. SPF every day

Rule number one is the most important rule , cover yourself with SPF every day. When I mean cover yourself I mean every part from your face; from you eyelids, to your ears to your neck. It is crucial that you cover your entire face and not leave one spot SPF free.

 Make sure you choose an SPF that would protect you against UVA and UVB rays. It has been proven that anti ageing starts with sunscreen. In fact sunscreen is the most effective anti-wrinkle, anti dark spots product. No matter the weather, cloudy, sunny or rainy , SPF should be applied daily. Even if you are home you must apply sunscreen because guess what UVA can penetrate from your window.

Its simple all of the products you use including your moisturisers, toners , eye creams, cleansers will not work if you do not apply sunscreen. Not applying sunscreen daily will result in sagging skin, increased wrinkles and dark spots.

 

2. Exercice

Exercise is not only good for your body and soul but also for your skin. In fact exercising can keep your skin cells healthy and vital and this is because it releases a compound called IL 15 which prevents ageing.


You can slow down your ageing process just by exercising 3 times a week. Research show that exercising creates body substances that help slow ageing in skin. Moreover it keeps your skin soft and glowing.

 

3. Use Retinol


Retinol is your super ingredient for anti ageing. Retinol is a form of vitamin A which promotes skin renewal and stimulates the production of collagen. It improves fine lines and wrinkles and improves skin complexion making it look rejuvenated and glowing. We recommend you to start using retinol in your early twenties, after all prevention is better than cure right. It is highly recommended to use your retinol cream or serum every night instead of the morning as sunshine and retinol aren’t the best of friends. Three to four times a week should show higher effectiveness of the ingredient.

 

4. Vitamin E

When our skin is exposed to external environment such as UV, Dust or pollution, it creates free radicals; and this is when vitamin E comes in handy as it neutralises the free radicals. These free radicals usually speed up ageing of the skin and increases brown spots. Therefore Vitamin E is the hero fighting against these free radicals.

It has been scientifically proven that vitamin E is a very effective and essential skin care vitamin. It is an antioxidant that prevents your skin from developing wrinkles, fine lines or any signs of ageing.

Prickly Pear Seed oil contains a very high level of Vitamin E, it is very effective for anti ageing with results seen in just few weeks. The tip is to apply two drops of the prickly pear seed oil every morning and evening and to make sure you tap it in gently with your finger tips. Massage your skin in circle motions and you will also notice an instant glow.

 

5. Hydration

It is said that when you feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated. We all know how bad for our skin it is to be dehydrated. Not drinking enough water will results in increased wrinkles and lines. It will also make your skin look dull, unhealthy and dry. Keep that face glowing and dewy by drinking enough water every day and not waiting to get thirsty before you go grab that glass of water.

Eating Fruits and vegetables with high content of water is also very important and I can assure you that it will help with your glow.


6. Remove your Make Up

Yes I know how lazy you are sometimes when you just come back home from a night out and you just want to plunge in your bed. Make sure you ALWAYS remove your make up and you will thank me later for reminding you. If you don’t, your beauty sleep will turn into an ugly slumber.
